What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your organization?
Our greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years are to find creative ways to keep sharing Christ in our local communities. The new 1500 Auditorium at our Omaha Campus opened in 2021. We have also launched a cause-oriented espresso bar at our Omaha Campus in 2021. Our goal is to find as many ways as possible for people to have a place to be invited. We want to make room and opportunities for people to find Jesus, grow as believers, and continue to invite more to the family.
Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hoping will happen through this process?
We chose to do a residency for a few reasons. With our local Bible college closing, we knew we needed to find a new way to invest in the next generation of church leaders. We want to be able to train up more leaders and provide an environment of growth and opportunity. On the other hand, we know it is a way for possible opportunities to bring on new team members. The two year commitment allows us to know residents well and see if there is a potential fit for the future here at StoneBridge.
What is it like to work on staff there? Working at StoneBridge is fun and fast-paced.We love to try new ideas, but also are able to evaluate well. If something doesn’t work, we’ll try something new.
